Analogiebildung (German)
I'm not sure whether the French term denotes a process or the result of this process. German "Analogie" is not specific enough. In our context, neologisms can be formed in analogy to other words, and this in German would be called "Analogiebildung" (for the result). I guess, this noun could also be used to denote the process, but that should be a different concept.
