    Interfix (German)
In German, we have "Interfix" for elements between a stem and an affix that are so called "Fugenelemente" (morphemes with a grammatical function). "Infix" is for morphemes with a meaning that go between a stem and and affix. So there is a differentiaion which I cannot see for French.
